How To Come Up With Better Quote Ideas For Print-On-Demand

I came across a video a few days ago about how to come up with better quote ideas for your print-on-demand products:

The video was created by Kittl, who provide a variety of AI-powered tools, including one that generates quotes for you.

As the video above shows, all you need to do is:

  1. Select or enter a niche.
  2. Choose what mood you want the quote to have (e.g., funny, serious, inspirational).
  3. Select how many words should be in the quote.
  4. Click the Generate button.

After a few seconds, you will see 12 quotes that have been created based on your selections. For example, I selected one of the predefined niches (although you can enter one of your own), Gaming, chose a mood of Funny, and requested quotes that were five to eight words long, and this is what it returned:

  • Born to game, forced to work.
  • My day starts with a controller.
  • Eat, sleep, game, repeat.
  • Gaming is my cardio.
  • No respawn in real life.
  • Game on, world off.
  • I pause games for no one.
  • Gamer by day, sleeper by night.
  • My life is a game, literally.
  • Controllers don’t die, they respawn.
  • One more game? Always.
  • Eat. Sleep. Game. Repeat.

Some of these are, admittedly, not that great, but you only need one or two good ones that you can either use directly or tweak a bit and create designs from to get you going.

You can download the generated quotes as a plain text file, or you can select one and go straight into creating a design based on that quote.

Kittl currently does have a free plan, but it is limited to 15 life-time credits and low-resolution exports, amongst other restrictions. Their Pro plan is their cheapest paid option, at $10 per month when billed annually, and that gives you 100 credits per month. (Usually, generating 12 quotes using their AI Quote Generator tool would cost you one credit.)

Now, here’s the good part!

From now until the end of 2023, you can get unlimited AI, even on the free plan! Yes, that’s right. I spent hours yesterday generating quotes for all sorts of niches, and I plan on continuing this for the rest of this month whenever I can carve out some time, because I want to amass a ton of potential quotes that will keep me going for months.

What I’m doing is scanning the daily notifications from my Holiday Reminder Alerts tool for any events or birthdays that sound like promising candidates for quotes. That way, I can combine two great tools to give me even more ideas than I would have done without them.

As to the rest of what Kittl offers, I have no idea – I was intrigued by their AI Quote Generator and that was enough to make me want to give it a try, especially as it’s effectively free for two more weeks.

I highly recommend you do the same while they’re offering unlimited AI, so sign up today and take them for a spin!
